It has been a few weeks since our last update; I hope and pray this memo finds you, your family, your friends, and your co-workers safe and healthy.
I think during this uncertain time, it is important for us to show our appreciation to the workers that are considered essential during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This includes, but is not limited, to the workers of: healthcare, farmers, military, police, fire, truckers, grocery workers, bankers, auto mechanics, and so many more. I just want to say thank you and God bless you and your families.
Next, I want to thank our loyal clients that are ultimately our friends. You have all shown great patience and support to us, and words cannot express how deep we feel about the respect you have given us. Without you, there would not be a Marnell Financial.
Finally, last but certainly not least, I want to acknowledge my team. In the office, we constantly discuss their unwavering commitment to provide you with the highest level of service and trust which eventually benefits Marnell Financial. I believe they sense my true gratefulness of their efforts most days we spend together, however, besides once per year in our annual tax letter, they do not get the public recognition they deserve from me. Friends, I want you all to know this group of talented, honest, conscientious, and loyal co-workers mean everything to me. I truly consider them all a part of my extended family and I would be nothing without them. As we all consider the essential Covid-19 workers to be our heroes, I consider this group to be mine as they fearlessly and unselfishly come to work every day to support the great work we do for you. So, I say thank you to them!
To continue with the positive communication, I would like to say that Marnell Financial didn’t skip a beat. Although our income tax production declined dramatically during the last month of the normal April 15th deadline, we put our resources to guide you through the CARES Act. When the shutdowns happened state by state and the IRS moved the federal extension and then the payment deadline back to July 15th, our staff was here to serve you. We did our very best to educate ourselves through reading, webinars, research, news programs, etc. We proactively and reactively got as much reliable information to you as possible. Moreover, we handled the phone calls and emails in a manner consistent with our past service commitments to you, and I am extremely proud of this fact. I can’t tell you how many small business owners we helped with the PPP loans, etc. and how many individuals we guided through the stimulus questions, but it was a whole bunch of you!
Our dedication to you is as follows:
- We will continue to educate ourselves at the highest level to properly guide you.
- We will continue processing your income tax work as expeditiously as possible.
Although, we again ask for your understanding and patience in this process because we are a full-service income tax, investments, and small business accounting firm that provides comprehensive solutions to all of you. This is why you use us, and we will continue to make sure that our well-rounded approach to servicing you is second to none.
Best to you all!
